People fit this position usually from civil engineering background (degree in civil engineering), have technical office and construction experience.

– preferably worked with a Western company at some stage of their work experience.
– +10 years of experience
– very good report writing,
– familiar with AutoCAD
– it is an advantage they have some design experience at some stage of their career
– excellent communication skills
– fluent English

Job description

• Lead the development of methods engineering capabilities
• Oversee method statements and value engineering as required for the General Construction and Infrastructure tenders
• Conduct constructability analysis during pre-tender and along the life-cycle of the project, in collaboration with Bus, Commercial and Technical, and Operations Support functions
• Review execution plan by defining construction and erection procedures
• Coordinate on-site support to the project teams as required in resolving engineering queries and issues
• Conduct value engineering activities during pre-tender and during the life cycle of the project
• Develop method statements
• Conduct analysis to optimize equipment deployment, use of materials, allocation of labor, costs, productivity, etc..
• Participate and provide inputs to constructability reviews
• Provide support to the project teams on engineering issues
• Support optimization of HSE
• Writing reports.
