Job Description:
A Construction company based in Khobar, K.S.A, specialized in the field of Roads and Bridges construction looking for Purchasing Supervisor residing in Saudi Arabia preferably in eastern province with minimum 5 years experience in the relevant field.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Supervision – Directs and coordinates the work of the replenishment, special order and data input teams including job assignment, training, performance evaluation and compensation review.
– Inventory/Supply Chain Management – Manages and develops inventory forecasts and open-to-buy budgets.
– Monitors inventory status and ensures it is meeting company targets.
– Provides data and proposes solutions to limit unproductive inventory
– Analysis – Owns and drives in-stock management metrics, key reports and advances their development.
– Manages order placement and order tracking metrics to optimize on-time shipping, fill rate, and lead time.
– Process Improvement – Defines and implements process improvements within the purchasing department.
Other Duties:
– Leads and provides support for various Purchasing department initiatives and projects as needed.
– Provides ad-hoc reporting on inventory management as necessary.
– Builds relationships with business partners and suppliers.
– Participates on company continuous improvement teams related to inventory management.
– Performs other duties as needed.
Worker Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical training in field related to position.
– Minimum five (5) years of experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain or Purchasing.
– Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience required.
