Job Description:

Job Purpose: To establish communications and alarm systems by installing, operating, and maintaining electronic

circuits and equipment.

Job Duties:

– To plan system installations by studying customer orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications;
– To order and gather equipment, supplies, materials, and tools, and assess installation site;
– To prepare an installation diagram;
– To establish systems by running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables;
– To install telecommunication and alarm equipment, routers, switches, multiplexors, announcement systems, cable
trays, and alarm and fire systems;
– To establish connections and integrations with other systems, particularly for home automation.

Desired Skills:

– Knowledge of telecommunication systems and technologies.
– Effective cable running, pulling, terminating, and splicing.
– Technical understanding of electrical and electronics boards.
– Other related functional and technical skills.
– Independence.
– Attention to details.
– Verbal communication in English.
– Documentation and reading skills.
– Ability to learn from installation manuals and standards.
– Ability to use basic software (MS Office, for example).
– Car driving is a plus.
