Job Description:
Supervise and carry out electrical maintenance activities for power generators, excitation systems, battery chargers, Inverters, transformers, Switch gears/breakers, motors all Electrical equipment in the Gas Turbine Generators, HRSG area and associate buildings to ensure their availability, maintainability, reliability, and efficiency.
This role operates under the direction of the Supervisor, Electrical.
The jobholder is accountable for the maintenance of Power Generation, exaltation systems, battery chargers, Inverters, battery banks, Motors and lighting system in Steam Turbine & Boiler units and associate Buildings in the plant.
A side from the normal duties and responsibilities, the job holder is tasked with project commissioning, coordination, allocating materials/spare parts/man power, supervising maintenance contractor’s work and perform additional assignments and responsibilities as per Electrical Supervisor’s direction.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Technical Electrical Engineering Diploma.
Minimum Experience:
• 5 – 7 years’ experience in an electrical maintenance environment within a large industrial or Power
