Job Description:
A Construction Company based in K.S.A., specialized in residential and commercial projects is seeking a highly qualified Procurement Engineer having solid expertise and experience in large-scale projects.
The applicant will be responsible for the following:
– Source and identify qualified suppliers for materials.
– Coordinate and review the completed procurement schedule.
– Send out RFQ as per procurement schedule.
– Analyze price proposals, financial reports and other data and information to prepare techno-commercial comparison sheet to evaluate the quotations.
– Meet with suppliers to discuss the requirements of the offered quotation and negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery terms, analyze reports and initiate remedial action if problems arise.
– Maintain price control for all purchased items and identify / maintain new price control.
– Develop and institutionalize procurement database / vendors, know-how, controls and capabilities in the field of civil, electrical and mechanical engineering.
Job Specification:
– Should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
– Should have minimum 5 years of experience in procurement / contract in a construction company.
