General Job Description:
The Director, Shared Services is responsible for developing and managing an experienced services team by providing leadership, direction, standardized work processes, and prioritization for all services within the Shared Services organization. The Director will partner with department/business unit leaders to ensure that Shared Services provides efficient and effective services that support the ongoing needs of the business, aimed at increasing employee engagement and customer satisfaction. This position also contributes to the continuous improvement of KeirCom.
The Director, Shared Services shall lead the following departments/business units:
– Administration Services
– IT
– Real Estate/Assets Management
– Quality/ISO, Environment, Health & Safety
– Communications (Public Relations, Corporate Citizenship, etc.)
– Any other team/organization (such as Accounting/Finance and Purchasing) that the CEO will direct him to lead
Specific Job Description:
– Build/strengthen each department/business unit.
– Develop and implement budgets with a view toward savings/cost-cutting.
– Draft/review policies and implementing guidelines toward developing effective manual of operations that are aligned with ISO standards and with Saudi labor laws.
– Draft/define short-term and long-terms strategies, goals and action plans for each department/business unit within the Shared Services organization and in line with KeirCom’s growth.
– Guide/mentor managers/department/business unit leaders in executing their respective responsibilities toward the achievement of Shared Services’ goals and objectives as well as those of KeirCom’s.
– Drive the engagement and satisfaction of all employees within Shared Services through periodic meetings to discuss the achievements of the organization and address any employee issues and/or concerns.
– Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., customers, vendors/suppliers, government agencies, etc.) for the achievement of KeirCom’s growth.
Educational Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in management and administration or equivalent.
Experiences:
– At least 5 years in a similar/equivalent position.
Other Skills/Qualifications:
– Proficient with MS Office.
– Possesses highly effective verbal, written, and communication skills.
– Excellent people management skills.
– Excellent leadership skills.
– Excellent administration/management/organization/planning and implementation skills.
– Excellent presentation skills.
