Job Description:
Planning Engineers, required for a company in Saudi Arabia.
– B.Sc. or B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
– Experienced in the manufacturing industry as a Production Planning Engineer for at least five (5) years.
– Using sales forecasts, plan, prepare and distribute production schedules for delivery, assembly and distribution of supplies and parts to the concerned departments.
– Compile and prepare documentation related to production sequences, transportation, personnel schedules, purchase, maintenance and repair orders.
– Maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
– Prepare status reports describing production rates, progress and materials inventories.
– Coordinate effectively with vendors, customers and in-house concerned departments for shipping & production-related activities.
– Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
– Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production and engineering.
