Job Description:
Civil/Steel Structural Quality Control Engineer, required for a company in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
– To coordinate with construction crew for on‐going civil/structural activities, including but not limited to excavation, backfilling, compaction, rebar inspection, formwork inspection, Field Density Test, concrete pouring, asphalting, etc..
– Must be able to do inspection of structural steel fabrication, erection till final inspection.
– Must have experience in Pre‐engineered building erection..
– To be more proactive to construction crew for advising to correct the activities this could lead to non‐conformance.
– To coordinate with surveyor to finalize the bench mark survey setting out prior to start of construction.
– Monitor all quality related activities on the project
– Verify contractor quality requirements.
– Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.
– Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system.
– Recommend and implement improvements when required.
