Job Description:
Transmission Engineer required for Transmission Substation and Lines Equipment maintenance in CTA.
– At this level the engineer commends very good technical knowledge, work independently and provides work direction on assigned tasks.
– Receives general work directions and work according well – established company procedure Higher level engineers review work progress.
– Interface with other departments and external parties as relating to his job.
– Prepare reports and participate in making recommendations in specified area where he is working, using PC related software.
– Review technical specifications and Standards for substation/Lines equipment Analyze the maintenance problems for substation equipment under ground and over head power lines.
– Prepare substation maintenance plan and review maintenance practices and procedures.
– Perform engineering studies to optimize performance of substation equipment/transmission lines and track of maintenance and system.
– Retrieve and analyze events from different fault recorders type and troubleshooting problem in the system.
– Prepare scope of work and cost estimate for maintenance work.
