We are seeking a Mechanical Proposal / Technical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in mechanical fabrication and industrial maintenance to support the preparation of technical proposals for industrial projects related to Sabic, Aramco, and EPC contractors.
This position is strictly for candidates who have previously worked physically by hand in workshops and/or on site.
Office-only engineers will NOT be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Review RFQs, Scope of Work, and technical drawings
• Prepare Technical Proposals
• Estimate:
o Manpower requirements
o Materials (MTO / BOQ)
o Project duration and execution plan
• Identify required trades:
o Welders
o Fabricators
o Fitters / Riggers
• Coordinate with workshop and site teams
• Support management with technical clarifications
• Assist in planning fabrication, maintenance, installation, and repair activities
Requirements
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Mandatory hands-on experience in:
o Mechanical Fabrication (steel structures, piping, supports)
o Mechanical Maintenance (pumps, valves, structures)
• Candidate must have physically worked by hand in workshop and/or site activities
• Experience in preparing:
o Technical Proposals
o Manpower Estimation
o Material Take-Off (MTO)
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes
• Experience in Sabic / Aramco / EPC projects is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word

Contract & Employment Conditions
• Contract Duration: Two (2) years, renewable based on performance
• Accommodation: Provided by the company
• Transportation: Provided by the company

For candidates outside Saudi Arabia:
• Work visa will be issued by the company
