We are seeking a skilled and experienced Coating Supervisor to oversee and manage all activities related to surface preparation and coating application. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate coating operations, including surface preparation (blasting, cleaning) and application.
Ensure work is carried out as per approved procedures, specifications, and safety regulations.
Monitor and inspect coating quality, film thickness, environmental conditions, and surface profile.
Prepare daily reports and maintain documentation for inspections, testing, and material usage.
Coordinate with QA/QC, project engineers.
Provide guidance and training to applicators and helpers.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or protective coating projects.
Strong knowledge of coating systems, standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE, ISO), and equipment.
Familiarity with Aramco standards
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Certification in coating inspection (NACE/SSPC/BGAS) is an advantage.
