Job Description:
Sales Engineers, required for a company in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
– BE in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrument) The Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and ensuring the business turn-over of the products / services assigned to his responsibility.
He must see to it that the products / services are processed and delivered in accordance to the quality and specification requirements of the customers.
He is also tasked to ensure proper communications occur between the customers and the concerned department for concerns and issues affecting the sales, like collection, documentation, among others.
– Computer literate, can perform estimation and sales costing, proficient in oral and business communications.
– Highly motivated, aggressive, articulate, sales oriented, creative, team player, customer focused, results oriented, can work long hours.
– Undertakes and regularly updates thorough inventory of current market for the assigned JAL products and services.
– Evaluates current gas market in relation to JAL manufacturing output.
– Market shares of industry players.
– Volume of each product.
– Marketing schemes and sales strategies employed by competitors.
– Initiate sales and services to the customers with known requirements but served by competitors.
– Follows the objectives and procedures of the department and the marketing and sales division regarding.
– Budgets – sales, operating expenses.
– Sales strategies.
– Pricing.
– Income/profitability.
– Submits regularly and on time all required reports and information observing quality and completeness.
– Coordinates with the concerned support groups the requirements needed such as Purchase Requests, Delivery Requests, Collections, and others.
– Optimize utilization of company resources assigned to his accountability.
– Observes strictly company rules and regulations at all times.
– Others that maybe assigned by immediate superiors.
– Develops new account through.
– Development of new business.
– Profitable/income generating projects.
– Undertakes to attain monthly / annual sales targets.
