CONSUL is a leading travel bags company that designs and manufactures high-quality luggage and accessories. We are looking for a talented and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team and help us build a world-class HR function.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
2. Oversee the full cycle of recruitment, from sourcing and screening candidates to making job offers
3. Manage employee on boarding and training.
4. Administer employee benefits and payroll
5. Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary action
6. Resolve employee relations issues
7. Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
8. Specific to the travel bags industry:
i) Manage travel arrangements for employees
ii) Coordinate employee participation in travel industry events and conferences
iii) Develop and implement training programs on travel industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
3+ years of experience in a progressively responsible HR role, preferably in the travel bags industry
Strong understanding of HR best practices and principles
Experience with HRIS and ATS systems
Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bonus Qualifications
PHR or SPHR certification
Experience with global HR
Experience with managing travel arrangements
