Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to join our Facility Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the civil infrastructure of buildings and facilities, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, assess, and maintain the structural and civil elements of facilities, including concrete, steel structures, masonry, and building finishes.
Supervise civil maintenance activities such as painting, plastering, tiling, flooring, waterproofing, and minor repairs.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for civil works.
Coordinate with contractors and in-house teams for refurbishment, renovation, and repair works.
Review civil designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.
Prepare scope of work, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil-related projects.
Monitor the quality of work and ensure timely completion of projects.
Conduct regular site inspections and generate technical reports.
Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations during all civil works.
Provide technical advice and support during construction or modification of facility structures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Facility Management or construction environment.
Strong knowledge of civil materials, construction methods, and maintenance practices.
Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other civil engineering software is a plus.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Membership in a recognized engineering body (e.g., Saudi Council of Engineers).
Experience in managing civil works within residential, commercial, or industrial facilities.
