Core Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT department.
• Ensuring that IT systems and services are running effectively and efficiently.
• Developing and implementing IT strategies & plans.
• Developing and managing the IT department’s budget, including allocating resources effectively and optimizing IT spending.
• Leading and overseeing IT projects, including planning, coordination, and execution, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensuring that IT systems and data are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards and developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
• Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systems.
• Providing guidance and support to IT staff in resolving technical issues and ensuring that end users receive timely and effective technical support.
Qualifications:
Educational:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Years Of Experience:
5 years relevant experience
Nature of Experience:
• Proven experience as an IT manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to lead and manage teams
• Experience in budgeting and resource allocation
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and compliance.
• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP or CISSP are a plus.
