Core Responsibilities:
Network Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
• Supporting and operating the Palo Alto security environment, making necessary adjustments and improvements. Supporting and operating gateway firewall security environment, making necessary adjustments and improvements.
• Supporting network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Configuring and maintaining firewall services to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
• Design and evaluate network infrastructure.
• Automation
Platform Management and Optimization:
• Monitor and optimize the performance of firewall security environments.
• Managing security platforms and systems such as VPNs, security policy, application security, and Logging
• Optimizing security platforms for scalability, reliability, and security.
Security and Compliance:
• Implementing and enforcing network security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security.
Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
• Monitoring network performance, analyzing traffic patterns, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Investigating and resolving firewalls and network issues, including performance degradation and connectivity problems.
Collaboration and Integration:
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate network services with other systems and applications.
Qualifications:
Educational:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Years Of Experience:

Nature of Experience:
• Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching and network security principles.
• Proven experience as a security engineer with a successful track record of designing and deploying firewall solutions with Palo Alto
• Proven experience in Palo Alto with Panorama and PAN-OS
• Proven Experience in supporting and managing enterprise-level firewall infrastructure and platforms.
• Strong Knowledge of firewall technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS, and Python programming language
• Certified CCNP/JNCIS
• Certified Google Cloud Professional Network Engineer
• Palo Alto Certificates (Preferably, PCNSA, PCNSE)
