MEP Site Engineer

We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented MEP Site Engineer to oversee the execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP activities are delivered in accordance with approved designs, project specifications, quality standards, and scheduled timelines, while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the installation of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting works.
Ensure all site activities are executed in compliance with approved shop drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
Review and validate shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals prior to execution.
Monitor project progress and prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and project quality objectives.
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and site-related issues in a timely manner.
Assist in testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems.
Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Support quantity verification, material planning, and efficient site resource management.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in MEP construction projects.
Strong technical knowledge of:
HVAC systems
Electrical systems (LV/MV fundamentals)
Plumbing and drainage systems
Firefighting systems
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
Sound understanding of international standards and local authority regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or high-rise developments.
Familiarity with testing and commissioning procedures.
Prior experience within the GCC, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
