We are searching for a well-organized self-starter with great attention to detail to join our team as the new planning engineer. Day-to-day responsibilities include drawing up work schedules and budgets, delegating tasks, analyzing project specifications, finding cost-effective ways to meet them, liaising with contractors and suppliers, managing resources, and communicating with surveyors, managers, and other engineers. You should be able to analyze data, write reports, and deliver presentations to various stakeholders.
Planning Engineer Responsibilities: –
Must be an expert in Primavera P6 software commands, including import/ export, critical path review, and resource loading.
Must be familiar with Equipment & Manpower Resource Productivity.
Review and understand project contract documents, especially terms and conditions pertaining to planning requirements.
Plan internal meetings for review of project execution as per the baseline plan and suggest action items for the successful delivery of the project.
Attend meetings with Consultants and Client representatives to discuss and agree on the smooth progress of daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
Review overall project status with Project Engineers, Project Management, and Company Management and recommend corrective action when necessary.
Prepare a revised schedule to mitigate delays and obtain Client/ Consultants Approval.
Prepare claim for Extension of Time as per Contract Requirements.
Liaise with other Departments Heads to ensure that schedule reports are updated to reflect the latest information.
Prepare and Issue Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reports to Clients as per Contract.
