Job Description:
English Teachers, required for a Technical Trainers College in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Requirements:
– Formal Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any Subject, but preferably in English.
– Minimum CELTA or equivalent ESL/EFL Teaching qualification DELTA desirable skills and experiences.
– Native English speaker.
– At least 4 years of relevant experience, Mid-East experience desirable.
– Teaches up to 24 contact hours per week.
– Implements the pedagogical concept of the department and of TTC through utilizing the agreed curriculum, syllabus and teaching materials.
– Completes all necessary departmental documentation, on time and to a high standard.
– Prepares and evaluates tests, final tests and other examinations in English language and where required supervises tests and exams of the TTC.
– Takes part in meetings of the department as required, and in the process of communication of the department.
– Carriers out other administrative duties as deemed necessary by the Head of Department.
– Contributes to quality improvement of the whole department through continuous review of teaching materials and curricula, and where possible through peer observations and feedback.
– Contributes to the integration of interdisciplinary know-how.
– Uses modern technology in practical training according to the pedagogical principles of TTC and the department.
– Ensures that classrooms are kept in a clean and tidy condition by the trainees and reports any promptly defects or damage to the appropriate persons.
– Consults and coaches trainees with regard to their performance and potential development.
– Supports the production of papers and theses of trainees (Bachelor’s thesis) represents TTC in public and on occasions of International Cooperation in accordance with the Head of Department.
