Industrial Control Technician

The Industrial Control Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated control systems used in industrial operations. This role ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of machinery and process control systems, contributing to optimal production performance.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Install, configure, and maintain industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and VFDs.
2. Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and electronic control equipment.
3. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on control systems and instrumentation.
4. Calibrate sensors, transmitters, and other measurement devices to ensure accuracy.
5. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to support system modifications and repairs.
6. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve automation and process efficiency.
7. Document system changes, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting procedures.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications, experience and skills:

Minimum experience Required qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial control
• Has sufficient experience to deal with electrical and
electronic faults as well as mechanical faults in
machines
• Has sufficient experience in malfunctions and
maintenance of PLC
• Preparing maintenance reports
• Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and emergency
maintenance and how to deal with it

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical and Industrial Control
