Job Description:
A well reputed fabrication and engineering company is seeking a Fabrication or Mechanical Engineer with the following qualities:-
– Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators, assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators.
– Incumbents to assess job priorities and assign workers accordingly.
– Ensure that work is on schedule.
Principal Duties:
– Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
– Interpret specifications, Drawings, blueprints, job orders, and procedures for workers.
– Keep records of employees’ attendance and hours worked.
– Co-ordinate and allocate work to laboring in accordance with directions.
– Ensure housekeeping is ongoing by maintaining a clean and safe workshop.
– Ensure workshop security, gates, cupboards, office.
– Ensure equipment and tools are secure and used correctly and help in technical queries.
Skills:
– Understanding blue-prints, sketches, and drawings.
– Familiarity with Saudi Arabian Market.
– Strong initiative and leadership.
– Flexibility to deal with multinational workforce.
Minimum Requirement:
– Diplomas or Bachelor Degrees in Engineering.
– Minimum of 3 years experience in mechanical fabrication or minimum of 3 years experience in fabrication workshop supervision.
– Good interpersonal communicator with comfortable reading, writing and editing skills in English.
