Job Description:
1. Conduct and organize orientation and training for newly hired employees.
2. Work diligently to retain and motivate personnel while recognizing and addressing their concerns and needs.
3. Keep current with the company’s new courses, updates and management tools releases. Promote them in the store.
4. Work with managers/supervisors to design the training calendar.
5. Schedule blended training opportunities between off floor and on the job training, coaching, mentoring and other training methods. Identify and implement these opportunities.
6. Maintain the training calendar
7. Conduct training audit and provide developmental opportunities.
8. Ensure technical resources, training materials and supplies are available to trainees
9. Track training progress and follows up with trainees to keep them on track, ensure completion of the program in a timely productive manner.
10. Maintain training materials and make recommended improvements as necessary
11. Communicate regularly with the store management to identify training needs.
12. Participate in training activities to increase personal skills levels, to improve overall store operations and customer service.
13. Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as hand-outs and visual materials.
14. Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.
