Position: Mechanical Project Engineer
Project: Aramco Pipeline Project
Location: Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical activities for pipeline construction projects.
Coordinate pipeline installation, fabrication, welding, fit-up, NDT, hydrotesting, flushing, reinstatement, and commissioning activities.
Review and implement IFC drawings, project specifications, method statements, ITPs, and approved procedures.
Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, planning, safety, engineering, procurement, and subcontractor teams.
Monitor project progress and ensure mechanical activities are completed according to the approved schedule.
Ensure all work complies with Saudi Aramco standards, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate with Aramco, EPC contractor, client representatives, and other stakeholders.
Review material requirements, material delivery, equipment availability, and manpower requirements.
Supervise pipeline mechanical works and ensure proper execution as per approved drawings and procedures.
Coordinate hydrotesting, pressure testing, tie-ins, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
Identify technical issues and coordinate with engineering and project management teams for resolution.
Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Ensure proper documentation, inspection records, test reports, and handover dossiers are maintained.
Participate in technical meetings, progress meetings, inspections, and site coordination meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in mechanical/pipeline construction projects.
Saudi Aramco project experience is mandatory/preferred.
Experience in oil & gas pipeline construction and mechanical activities.
Strong knowledge of pipeline construction, hydrotesting, NDT, welding, fabrication, and commissioning.
Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and specifications.
Ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors at site.
Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
