Job Description:
• Perform installation, configuration, integration, upgradation and commissioning of new VSAT System with all related equipment.
• Analysis of system performance, diagnosis of component or system faults and preventive/corrective maintenance of VSAT systems and components.
• Complete testing and commissioning procedures and paperwork to ensure system meets operational requirements.
• Categorize the tasks and assign each worker specific task and procedure to accomplish it
• Monitoring site workers and coordinating with other sub-contractors and activities
• Maintain daily and weekly work records and reported to the higher officials
• Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring and Supervising all site related activities
• Preparation of material BOQ and tools list for project as per drawing.
Experience Required:
• Experience in installation, configuration, integration, upgradation and commissioning of new VSAT System with all related equipment.
• Experience in installation, configuration, testing, repairing and troubleshooting communication equipment including satellite modems, transceivers, Antennas (SeaTel, Orbit, Intellian, Cobham, etc) and waveguide installation HPA/SSPAs up/down converters LNA/LNB/LNCs, BUCs, BNCs, baseband and out of band management.
• Providing onsite & remote technical support for the purpose of the installation, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of VSAT systems and related equipment anywhere in the KSA
• Experience in Satellite Network Operations, Field Services and Monitoring of VSAT terminals and infrastructure through the network monitoring system
• Troubleshoot RF and IP components of VSAT systems using specialized software and test equipment.
• Experience using various RF tools (Spectrum Analyzer)
• Understanding the operational and technical complexities of VSAT and satellite communications systems and familiarity with teleport operations.
• Proven in-depth experience in the area of network health and expansion, iDirect NMS server and Protocol Processor O&M, network sizing, frequency management and Quality Assurance of link budget calculations and frequency planning is required.
• Experience in Engineering and Operating iDirect TDM/TDMA, SCPC, Comtech VSAT systems.
• Qualified at all levels of Installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, Voice, Security Technologies, Microwave Systems & Wireless Systems.
Priorities: Candidates will get priorities if they have,
• Working experience in KSA.
• Related professional trainings/certifications (e.g., GVF, Cisco, Intellian, etc)
• Experience in RF (Satellite/Microwave) Communications and IP Networking (Cisco experience preferred).
• Experience in various RF tools (e.g., Spectrum Analyzers and BER Test Equipment).
• Experience of Wireless Network installation and/or maintenance.
Other Skills:
• Computer Skills: MS Office, MS Excel, Power point, Outlook etc.
• Excellent Communication skill in English and/or Arabic.
