Job Details:
– Work within the structures team will dep on the qualifications and experience the candidate has.
– Work is primarily 3rd party design review and verification of offshore facilities {jackets and topsides} during all design stages {EPC, FEED, design, manufacturing, installation and in-service}.
– As a Structural Engineer, candidate will be engaged in design review, installation and in-service verification activities related to offshore structures.
Knowledge within one or some of the fields below:
– Verification of top-sides.
– Verification of Design Basis involving knowledge of relevant structural codes and standards.
– Experience from the offshore industry.
– Qualification/verification of material characteristics.
– Indepent structural analysis of steel structures using general FEM programs. {E.g. jacket substructure with wind turbine generator}.
Candidate Profile:
– A degree in Civil Engg / Ocean Engg/ Marine Engg / Naval Arch {60% marks}.
– A minimum of 10 – 12 years in design and engineering of offshore structures at various stages.
– Hands on experience with analytical software –Sesam or SACS.
– Knowledge of Structure Integrity Management.
– Business understanding of the Energy sector in India and a growing network of relevant contacts.
– Fluency in written and spoken English.
– Target industry: Consultancy and designers of offshore structures / Analysis of offshore structures.
– Target companies: EPC mainly in the offshore sector i.e., Aker Solutions, NPCC, etc.
– CTC for this position: Rs. 12 – 14 lakhs {negotiable}.
