Job Description:
Projects Director
Construction:
– Knowledge of heavy civil and industrial construction management and Contract administration.
– Evaluate, select and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
– Observes and control the contractor’s construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications, preparation or review of daily reports, and documentation or review of documentation of non-compliance or deviation from the plans and specifications.
Field engineering:
– Ability to manage heavy industrial project including all related activity. In accordance with project time schedule.
– Manage the handover of assigned projects through consultant and contractors
Project Engineering:
– Prepare tender documents, provide information for reports and participate in particular investigations as required, Inspect Contractor’s work in accordance with contract plans and specifications.
– Prepare daily activity report, document installed bid quantities, coordinate with government agencies, arrange job progress meetings, coordinate with testing labs, review pay applications, update as-built records, conduct project close-out process.
Skills:
Leadership:
– Competently supervised engineers and provide a clear vision of the department’s objectives and priorities.
– Supported employees by reviewing job performance at regularly scheduled intervals, recognizing their achievements, and participating in the preparation of their future developmental plans.
Communication:
– Held weekly staff meetings to exchange information, share concerns, ideas, suggestions, and decide upon policies and procedures. Produce clear, concise monthly reports.
Education:
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
