Position: Costing & Estimation Engineer – Telecom & ICT
Key requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical or a related engineering field
5-8+ years’ experience in cost estimation or tendering for telecom/ICT projects (fiber, passive and active networks, structured cabling, data center, CCTV/security systems)
Skilled in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and pricing from vendor and subcontractor quotations
Strong with Excel and costing tools; familiarity with Primavera or MS Project is a plus
Knowledge of Saudi market pricing, import duties, VAT and local content requirements (preferred)
Able to read technical drawings and specifications
Good English; Arabic is an advantage
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs for tenders and proposals
Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes
Build budgets covering materials, labor, equipment, logistics and contingency
Support margin analysis, bid/no-bid decisions and value engineering
Track actual costs against estimates and feed lessons into future bids
Coordinate with the Project Manager, procurement and technical teams
