Job Description:
Empower Contracting, a member of the CPC Holding, Saudi Bin Ladin Group – SBG, is a leading electromechanical specialist based in Saudi Arabia and is seeking to hire experienced Electrical / Mechanical Senior Estimation Engineers.
– B.Sc. in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
– 4-6 years of commercial experience.
– Experienced in tendering including quantity take offs; BOQs preparation; essential knowledge of rate analysis from first principles (star rate build-ups); submission of tenders, post tender negotiations and order finalization; pricing and resolution of variation; time extensions and claims thereof, risk assessment and management (both pre-tender and post-award); Value Engineering
Analysis; presentation and negotiation of VE options.
– Preparation of post award tender budgets.
– Reviewing and updating (analyzing budgets vs. actual utilization); establishing norms/labor productivity.
– Finally, the incumbent would have to analyze results / output and prepare detailed progress reports, which must be well-versed in the regulations of local authorities.
– Knowledge of the Middle East tendering/pricing norms is also mandatory.
