Manage all phases of construction business unit, and projects for continuous growth and profitability including entitlement, design, permitting, bidding, contracting, and start-up, turn over and project close out.
Bid, negotiate, and supervise contracted services for assigned properties.
Maintain profit/loss accountability for each project site – including job cost controls and take proactive measures to meet or beat budgeted costs. Maintain job cost reporting in accordance with company policy.
Manage all budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures, controls for assigned projects, and make recommendations.
Administer over the Construction process for the duration of the project, and resolve complex construction.
Provide leadership and a single-point source for accountability on projects.
Ensure the involvement of Operations personnel throughout the estimating process to support sales in the development of proposals and bids, which reflect accurate costs for the execution of work.
Enforces compliance with government regulations, safety requirements, and engineering principles.
Qualification & Experience
Engineering degree in Architecture, Civil or equivalent. PMP Certification is a must.
At least 15 years’ experience, working on large construction projects
Deal-oriented and understand the dynamics and challenges of regional markets in the current real estate climate.
Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.
Ability to make judgments and take decisions, well-organized and team player.
